Les McCann

This week, it's the soulful sound of one of Jazz's living legends.  Les McCann is one of the primary architects of the sub-genre known as soul-Jazz, and his playing continues to impress audiences today.

His prolific recording career yeilded many fine albums and earned him successful placement on the pop charts with the hit "Compared to What."  But one must dig deeper to appreciate the true variety of sounds and styles that Les McCann has played throughout his life.
