With fall’s arrival, plans for winter start to pop up, and among them is one of our favorite events– New York City’s Winter Jazzfest this coming January 9th-15th! This year is looking to be another great one, and we’re not just saying that as a sponsor. Percussionist/producer Makaya McCraven is the festival’s featured artist-in-residence. On top of that, the lineup includes some folks we’ve loved for some time now like vocalist aja monet, trumpeter/multi-instrumentalist Emma-Jean Thackray, Sun Ra Arkestra and so many others.
